James Schubert is an inspiring drummer, performer, and educator with a vibrant and enthusiastic approach to teaching. He has been part of the Jeffries Academy of Music faculty since its opening in 2017, sharing his passion for rhythm and creativity with students of all ages.

He holds a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Performance from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, and has since established himself as one of Sydney’s most versatile young drummers.

Having begun his journey under the mentorship of Nic Jeffries, James now tours nationally with a range of bands and artists. His energy, professionalism, and deep musicality make him a valued member of the JAM teaching team and an inspiring mentor to his students.
