Leo Jakovics is an experienced drummer, performer and educator who has been playing music since the age of six. His musical development has continued through primary, secondary and tertiary study, and he is currently in his third year at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, specialising in Drum Kit Performance.

Leo achieved a Distinction in his Grade 7 Drum Kit Performance exam through Trinity College London in 2020, and received a Band 6 in Music 1 in 2022. His playing spans a wide range of genres, including rock, pop, RnB, jazz and punk.

As a performer, Leo plays with a number of bands and solo artists across Sydney. He has also toured along the East Coast of Australia as a session drummer for the band Golf Alpha Bravo.

With more than five years’ teaching experience, Leo brings strong practical knowledge, versatility and a supportive approach to his lessons. He is passionate about helping aspiring drummers build confidence, improve their technique and develop the musical skills needed to grow as well-rounded musicians.
